Bitter Gourd (Cut into flimsy round pieces) – 1 cup
Coconut Bits/Thenga Kothu – 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garlic (Chopped) – 2
Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
Onion(medium ) – 1
Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
Curry leaves – 1 strand
Salt – as needed
Marinate bitter gourd pieces with turmeric powder and salt .Keep aside for 5 minutes.
In a dish, add coconut oil and fry bitter gourd pieces till firm.
In the same container, put ghee and fry coconut bits till light brown. Transfer into a plate.
At that point add sliced onions and saute well.
Put chopped garlic and curry leaves and fry till darker in shading.
Garnish with red chilli powder, garam masala, pepper powder and mix together
Present with Rice as a side dish. Its tasty and healthy side dish.
